The Australian and New Zealand Society of Occupational Medicine (ANZSOM) is pleased to announce the 2013 Annual Scientific Meeting. The conference theme ‘Over the Horizon – Technology, innovation and new challenges in occupational health’ underlines the rapidly changing work environment and the developments in health and safety that may impact on the practice of occupational medicine in the future.
The program features speakers of international renown and provides opportunities to experience local workplaces and attractions in the Geelong and surrounding areas. For the first time the conference will also feature a stream developed specifically for nurses, recognising their important role in workplace health.
Note this is NOT a SISA event. Please register by completing the form included in the event brochure or register online via the ANZSOM website. Benefit from the special rates for ANZSOM members and from early-bird discounts which are available until 30th June.
Full registration includes:
- All sessions described in the technical program and morning and afternoon teas
- Pre-booked attendance at one of three CPR Update Workshops (offered on Thursday 29th August)
- Attendance at site visits on Thursday 29th August and Friday 30th August
- Main social events including:
- Opening cocktail party at the Carousel on the waterfront (Tuesday 27th August)
- Society Dinner at The Pier (Thursday 29th August)
- Free WiFi in the conference area for the duration of the conference
Day registration is also available. Day registration does not include social functions – these can be booked separately.
