The second phase of the review of the Occupational Health, Safety and Welfare (OHSW) Regulations 1995 (Part 5 - Hazardous Work) is now ready for public consultation, with the release of a Discussion Paper of Amendment Proposals.
Due to the highly technical nature of the Part 5 regulations, amendment proposals have been developed in conjunction with technical advisors and other experts. They have assisted in formulating options for improvement to these regulations as a starting point for constructive engagement with the South Australian community.
SafeWork SA now invites all interested parties to provide submissions on the proposals contained in the discussion paper. Feedback can take a number of forms, ranging from a formal written submission, a letter containing your views or simply comments sent in an email.
