The winners of the 2012 SISA Awards were announced in front of 400+ members and guests at the annual SISA Awards Dinner on 21st September 2012.

The Award winners were:

Self Insured Employer of the Year, sponsored by KJK Legal

Recognising the best WHS or RTW management program, system and/or performance

Commendation - Department for Correctional Services

Winner - Premium Wine Brands Orlando Wines

Best Work Health & Safety Solution, sponsored by MSVS Consultancy

Recognising the best example of an innovative solution to an identified workplace hazard.

Commendation - Alinta Energy, Leigh Creek maintenance

Winner - Treasury Wine Estates

Outstanding Individual Contribution to Work Health & Safety or RTW, sponsored by WorkCover SA

Recognising the best contribution by a person to improving work health & safety or RTW.

Commendation - Alison Gordon, Kimberly-Clark

Winner - Sue Walstenholme, Philmac

Outstanding Personal Achievement in RTW, sponsored by WorkCover SA

Recognising an individual’s outstanding achievement in returning to a self insured workplace after injury.

Recognising a self insurer program or initiative that has positively influenced workplace health & safety performance of suppliers and contractors

Winner - SA Water North-South Interconnector Project
