Bookings are now open for the 2012 SISA Awards Dinner. Book your seats for the best event of its kind in the industry. The awards will be presented on 21st September 2012 at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre.
The SISA awards recognise outstanding achievements in workplace health, safety and injury recovery among self insurers in South Australia. In 2012, the format of the SISA Awards has been modified to make it easier to nominate. Nominations are sought for the 2012 awards in the following categories:
1. Self Insured Employer of the Year*
Awarded for the best WHS and RTW management system and/or performance.
2. Best Work Health & Safety Solution*
Awarded for the best example of an innovative solution to an identified workplace hazard.
3. Outstanding Individual Contribution to WH&S or RTW - Category 1
Awarded for the best contribution by an employee other than a WHS or RTW professional to improving work health & safety or RTW.
4. Outstanding Individual Contribution to WH&S or RTW - Category 2
Awarded for the best contribution by an in-house WHS or RTW professional to improving work health & safety or injury recovery/return to work.
5. Outstanding Personal Achievement in RTW
Awarded for an individual's outstanding achievement in returning to a self insured workplace after injury.
6. Service Provider of the Year
Awarded to an external service provider nominated by a self insurer for the consistent delivery of outstanding quality and effectiveness in WHS or RTW-related services. (There is no limit on the type of provider that can be nominated. Examples of provider types are rehabilitation, medical, legal, claims management, WHS advisers).
7. Supplier or Contractor Excellence
- Recognise a self insurer program or initiative that has positively influenced workplace health & safety performance of suppliers and contractors; or
- Recognise a contractor or supplier (nominated by a self insurer) that demonstrates excellence in work health & safety within a self insurer workplace.
Awards marked * can be split into under 500 employees and over 500 employees if nominations warrant.
