Safe Work Australia has announced that former SafeWork SA Executive Director Marie Boland will lead the review of the national model WHS laws commencing early 2018. The review is expected to be completed by the end of 2018.

SISA will monitor the review as it gets under way and we will seek your views on the SA version of the model laws in due course.
It should be noted that Queensland has flagged its intention to push hard to have its recently passed industrial manslaughter statutes included in an updated national model.
