Indoor Air Quality Investigation

Poor indoor air quality or “sick building syndrome” are terms often used by building occupants where the health affects seem to reduce once they leave work. Headaches, skin irritation, nausea and headaches are all possible symptoms.

Many sources of indoor pollutants have been implicated such as tobacco smoke, ozone, formaldehyde, airborne dust and carbon dioxide to name a few. Other environmental factors include the temperature, ventilation and relative humidity of the working environment.

Biological Contamination
Biological contamination in the workplace may present a risk or increase harm to the employees or contactors on the work site.

Elevated levels of biological contamination may be found in a number of areas such as; Potable Water, Cooling Towers and air conditioning plants (Legionella), Evaporation ponds, Dams and waterways, Rainwater tanks and Wineries

Upon analysis of any samples, Health Safety Environment Australia will provide professional advice to minimise any risks to employees.
