Certificate IV in Occupational Health and Safety:
This certificate course is for those who wish to pursue a career in OH&S. It is ideal for those responsible for OH&S in their workplace and need the skills and qualification required to carry out their duties. This course has a significant focus on OHS auditing, an essential requirement for self insurers.
Certificate IV in Government (Injury Claims Administration):
This specialist qualification covers the competencies required for injury claims administrators in the self insured environment. The course is competency based and matched to specific learning outcomes contained within nationally recognised training qualifications. This varied program offers those in the industry, in a range of roles, the opportunity to undertake training and accreditation in a nationally recognised qualification.
Certificate IV in Government (Injury Rehabilitation Management):
The compelling need to ensure that rehabilitation professionals have the skills and knowledge required to achieve the goal of early and safe return to work has been well established. Throughout this course you will see an increased emphasis on having all the players in the workers rehabilitation and compensation system working together to achieve a common goal; returning people to work sooner and safer.
This varied program offers those in the industry, in a range of roles, the opportunity to undertake training and accreditation in a nationally recognised qualification and recognises that the nature, diversity and style of business in this industry required variety in the delivery style and opportunity for professional development.
Rehabilitation and Return to Work Coordinator Training:
As part of the recent legislative amendments, subsection 28D(1) of the Workers Rehabilitation and Compensation Act 1986 (the Act) requires an employer to appoint a Rehabilitation and Return to Work Coordinator (coordinator). This qualification has been developed to assist Rehabilitation and Return to work Coordinators in their role, and is designed to meet the legislative requirements recently released by WorkCover.
