Mediation Back

Mediation Employment Relations Services

Why would an employee with a psychological claim want to return to pre-injury duties if the issues that caused the injury have not been resolved?

Mediation – It’s safe, supportive and neutral

Mediation assists the parties to remove or reduce any inhibitors to return to work and to make improvements to workplace behaviour and conduct, promoting an early return to work. Mediation enables the parties to reach a mutually decided written agreement which will be made available when assessing whether the employee can return to work.

In a safe and neutral space, we assist the parties to create their own written agreement. A follow-up service is also provided to establish compliance and durability of the agreement. And of course, the entire process is confidential.

Early intervention strategy to help resolve workplace conflict

Mediation services are a proactive and cost-effective early intervention strategy to resolve workplace conflicts. Less stressful than litigation, mediation reduces the impact of the situation, helping to preserve the health and wellbeing of those involved.
